After spending two days in Berlin I took my flight to Hong Kong via Moscow travelling for more than 18 hours and I finally arrived on 22nd of May in the Special Administrative Region. I was tired to death.
It is hot. Always around 30° Celsius – day and night. I like it, finally I don’t have to freeze anymore. However the heat requires me to sleep longer and when I wake up, I feel like as if a car had hit me several times during the night. But fresh and cold soy milk wakes me up and gets me ready for the day.
My new job already requires a lot of my attention, but it is very promising and I am very excited about the upcoming weeks.
The pictures show the view of the apartment where I am staying these days. It is a very fancy place and I enjoy staying here a lot.
As the circumstances demanded from me, I had to leave Japan for a short period. I used this opportunity and went to South Korea. I took a flight from Osaka to Seoul on April 26th.
On Thursday 22nd I took the night bus from Tokyo to Kyoto and arrived in the early morning. It was a rainy Friday and finding the right way from Kyoto Station to my student dormitory was quite challenging and took longer than expected. But eventually I had arrived there and the facility manager and his wife gave me a warm welcome.
On February 29th I took the bus from Ha Noi to Hoi An. The bus usually takes 17 hours for that distance, but unfortunately during the night the vehicle happened to have a severe tire damage. It took the driver six hours to get the reparation done.
One of the Wonders of the World, and it has truly impressed me.
