In the 16th century the Portuguese came to Japan and brought trade and Christianity. The Emperor of Japan tolerated the new religion at first, but soon it was banned. There used to be three Japanese Christians who got baptised with the name Paulus (パウロ).
After a relaxing but short sleep I made my way to the next highway entrance. Unfortunately the location was not very good at all. Not many cars were passing by and there was also not much space to pick me up. So I decided after one hour to take the local train to access the next Service Area.
The capital provides a lot of interesting places, so it is almost impossible to see everything within one weekend. As I didn’t have much knowledge of Korean history, I selected the spots in order to learn more about this country.
I know it has been some time since my last post. So I thought that I may share some photos from a trip we made through the lovely Qingchuan County (青川县).
